About

Costa Rica Talk Radio is a weekly Podcast show featuring news, tips, and the latest information about Costa Rica.  If you’re new to podcasting, let me start off by saying that you do not need an iPod or iTunes or any Apple product to listen to a podcast.  The New Oxford American Dictionary defines a podcast as: “a digital recording of a radio broadcast or similar program, made available on the Internet for downloading to a personal audio player”.  Visit my “What is Podcasting” page for a more detailed definition on Podcasting.

The beauty of podcasting is that you can subscribe for free and have our latest podcast show distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds, for playback on any MP3 player and/or your computer (PC or Mac).  I want to make it easy for you to enjoy the show so you can also download the audio file directly from the website or you can stream the audio file by clicking the “play” icon and listen to the show right from the website.  My goal is to make it as easy as possible for you to enjoy the show but podcasting is best enjoyed once you subscribe to my feed so you the newest shows are delivered to you automatically.  It’s like TIVO; you play it when you want it.

You maybe wondering who the heck I am and why am I doing a show about Costa Rica? Simple, I was born and raised in Costa Rica but I have living many years in the United States.  I was born in San Jose, Costa Rica.   My Dad was an American from Minnesota and my Mom was born in Puntarenas, Costa Rica.  My entire family still lives in Costa Rica.   I married a Minnesotan so I divide my time between Minnesota and Costa Rica.  It’s quite a weather contrast!

I have unique access to many Costa Rica experts whom I plan to interview for up coming podcasts.  Costa Rica Talk Radio will feature my podcast and videos about Costa Rica.  The podcast will focus on everything about Costa Rica from general day to day living to real estate.  The focus will be for the expat living in Costa Rica or those baby boomers who dream about retiring in a tropical paradise like Costa Rica but I will also provide information for regular folks who want to relocate to Costa Rica who aren’t of retiring age or the tourist coming to Costa Rica on vacation.

Basically the site will be 100% focused on Costa Rica covering the spectrum from baby boomers, investors, surfers, tourists, anyone who is interested in learning about Costa Rica will find this site right up your alley!

¡Saludos y Pura Vida!
