This podcast features a wonderful rendition of the classic Costa Rican anthem, Patriótica Costarricense. You can hear another version preformed by Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil y el Coro Sinfónico Nacional here but I like the version in my podcast better. The official version is more traditional symphony preformed by Costa Rican National Orchestra.
I wrap up my tour of Costa Rica’s regional zones in the Northern Zone.

Hola alan ,12 days till my wife ,daughter and I head down for our first trip to c.r. we will be in manzanillo for six weeks . we are very excited . any sort of info we must know before we head that way??
How exciting! Are you going to Manzanillo on the Guanacaste province or the Manzanillo in Limon, near the Panama border? I like Playa Manzanillo because it’s not as “touristy” (hmm, is that a word?). Anyway…since you’re going during the green season, if you’re going to rent a car I suggest a 4WD but don’t there is plenty of sun left even during Costa Rica’s winters.
