Vintage Marfil Video: “Represento” shot during Limón Festival Days

I just found a blast from the past video clip on YouTube that I must add to this post! It’s the famous Costa Rica group Marfil and their video for the song “Represento”. The video was recorded off an old Costa Rica music video TV show called “Hola Juventud” which means Hello Youth in English.

The video was shot in Limón. Looks like sometime in the 1980’s. The airplane in the video is from LACSA the Costa Rican National Airline (now part of TACA) and looks like festival time in Limon during the video. Unfortunately the whole video wasn’t recorded but you can get a taste and feel for Limón festival days. Click here to check out this video!
